For the last 2 years we as agents have been navigating the rapid and dramatic changes for insuring homes. Costs have tripled-or more. We have entire areas (Castaic) that some actuarial decided weren’t safe for companies to insure in and Fair Plan is the only option. Now with State Farm joining Farmers and Allstate as companies that don’t write new policies, just getting insurance at ANY cost is challenging. What to do? Watch!
