New Construction

New Construction has always been the driving force behind the growth of Santa Clarita. There is simply no other area in Los Angeles County with the room for homes of all sizes that Santa Clarita offers. This is also true of state of the art new buildings in the business parks bringing good jobs to the area. See the link for the SCVEDC for more on that.

Williams Ranch Recreation Center - Click Image for PDF Download

Spring of 2021 will welcome almost 500 new homes to beautiful Hasley Canyon Castaic. Just minutes from Town Center, these homes will have a “country feel” and be on larger than usual lots. Also, as part of a demand for flexibility, many will be single story and have options for customized space. Because of the size of the lots, RV and oversized garages will also fit a buyer demand, as will ADU options over the garage for multi generational living. There will be an HOA and melo roos taxes and pricing will start in the upper 600’s for about 1700 square feet and go over a million for homes of about 4000 square feet. The builder is creating a master planned feel to the neighborhood with 5 miles of walking trails and a recreation center. Models will be ready by spring and the first move ins by Winter 2021 with the first phase releasing as many as 50 homes to meet anticipated demand.

As we enter 2020 and beyond there are over 30,000 homes approved to be built in our valley from Vista Canyon on the east to the massive 5 Points development (we still call it “Newhall Ranch”) on the west side of town. All of these builders work directly with Real Estate agents to help them sell their new homes. To have our guidance and assistance through walking lots, selecting meaningful upgrades and negotiating terms with the builders we must accompany you on your FIRST visit to represent you. That’s it. It doesn’t cost anything and the advice can be invaluable. As the inventory grows, knowing what builders will and won't do is essential to your negotiation and purchase. The links below are just a few of what is coming. Call me for information on the many smaller projects also in the works.

Here is a video highlighting the Newhall Ranch/Valencia grading which is the largest New Construction Project ever approved in LA County.
